I am cleaning my kitchen right now and am having a very hard time getting the walls/floor clean next to the oven. Food stains, grease stains, etc….it doesn’t want to come off.

I am using a heavy cleaner (from Lysol) and letting it soak in for a bit before I try and clean. But nothing is working.
Does anyone have advice on what to use – or a mixture of household ingredients to use to get my painted kitchen walls clean?
Thank you!

use Dawn dish liquid for the grease mess.
try Pine sol on the food.
Dried food needs to be softened in order for it to come clean.
Please be careful about mixing household ingredients because this can be very dangerous.
For your painted kitchen walls:
Try the Mr. Clean Magic eraser with some dish soap suds.
or
To remove grease spots from walls, make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply thick paste to the grease stain and let it dry. Brush the residue off with a soft brush.
For the floors try:
Scrubbing with brewed Lipton tea, and soft bristle scrub brush.
or
Add Pine Sol to the stain. Just pour Pine Sol directly on the grease spot and rub. You can see the grease melt and dissolve.
Mr. Clean is a good product. However there are many “degreasers” on the market and you may want to look into them. Spraying oven cleaner under the cook top (where drip pans sit) and in some types of drip pans, works great…haven’t tried it anywhere else (except) in the oven, a formula is made for “self-cleaning” ovens. And of course the old standy by straight ammonia (I prefer scented types) however understand the original is best….ventilate room and try not to breath in the fumes. Depending on build up you may need to use a “paint scraper” for some of the tough spots then you can get to the bottom layer…good luck.
I use Tough’n'Tender mixed with warm water and a sponge to scrub. It works great.
Also, try a Mr. Clean Majic sponge.
