It is a good idea, but make sure you set limits! Will you be doing light cleaning? Household chores? Heavy duty cleaning? Whole houses?
It sounds wonderful, but you must be very explicit in your rates and services, otherwise someone will eventually take advantage of you.
Are you sure? That would mean you would have to clean the turdlets up from behind the toilet in peoples houses…you don’t really want to do that, do you?
Craigslist is a great idea. You could also post ads at local supermarkets.
Just be very careful with this one… I just studied a case where an enterprising youth was assaulted on what they call “a bob a job” days here in England. Entering into a strangers house can be very dangerous… try to arrange to work with a friend in the least. Sorry I cant be helpful about your question, but be careful!
being a teenager , it will be possibly hard for you to find a job cleaning part time due to the fact that a lot of people would be hesitant to hire someone of your age,,, don’t take it personal,its just that they wont think you have the experience that they would want. The best thing for you to do to get started is to ask your parents to ask people that they might know that could use some help around the house and once you’ve proven to them that regardless of your age that you will be able to do it, and from there the people you work for will tell their friends and so on… The best advertising is through word of mouth, and Craig’s list is a idea, just be care full ,,,, there are a lot of weirdos out there that will prey on someone your age!
