There are 2 ways you can start your business. The first and easiest way to do it is to become a franchisee of an existing franchise system. The master franchisee will normally provide you with full training and provide you with support if you run into any trouble. Of course you need to ensure that the master franchisee is a reputable person so check their credentials with the Consumer affairs board in your state. The second way is to start a totally new business. In this case, you should talk to an accountant that you trust. He/ she will provide you with all the details you require. If you do start afresh, then you will need to be able to write a business plan, think up marketing ideas, approach potential clients, purchase cleaning equipment and chemicals, operate machinery, and be able to do a whole lot of work even before earning a single dollar. So in essence, I would say start off as a franchisee and then once you have enough experience and contacts etc. sell your franchise and start off on your own.
it’s simple! Have an efficient system to clean people houses then find houses to clean. but 1st you will need money to get the ball rolling. decide what you need to clean a house then get it. I know around here in ohio most homes supply their own cleaning products because the homeowner prefers the smells, the quality, or some people are just allergic to certain cleaners, then with the vacuum it is best to use the customers for the reason you don’t want to vacuum one house w/ dog hair then bring that to a place where people are allergic to dogs. then market like HELL! put your name anywhere and everywhere, focus more towards where the money is examples… higher end grocery stores, health clubs, banks. anywhere you find a community board, make fliers and hang them up on telephone poles in busy intersections. go to a busy parking lot and make fliers for windshields, it’s cheap and you will be noticed. post an offer for a free hour cleaning for the first 3 people a month, then that will give you word of mouth advertising which is by far the best advertising in the world! be creative and experiment that’s the only way to know what works and do not expect it to take off over night it usually takes sometime before you will see results. just have a variety of marketing approaches and when someone calls ask them how they found you, that will tell you what is working and do more of that
Use this basic checklist to make sure all the important steps are taken before you launch your new venture. This business checklist will make sure that you cross all your t’s and dot all your i’s before your business launch.

The best advice I could give is this. Work for someone who owns the type of business you want to start. Learn from someone who is currently doing it. Ask that person all the questions you wanted answered online. Make a list of questions then ask them not all at once but through out your time working with this person.
I cannot stress enough the power of learning off someone’s dime. Keep your money in your pocket, you may find out after working that it may not be what you want to do. Also when asking questions also listen to what they are not saying. Observe the business owner and your coworkers.
You will learn a lot.
