I run hot water through it
Lots of hot water and soap. Soak for a good while and then try a pipe cleaner or bottle brush to help remove the resin. Good luck. You will need it!!!
My son said that he boiled his for a few minutes, just be careful not to let it cool too quickly tho.
You will have a hard time keeping the bowl as good as new..
I like to fiddle around with my pipes and I ended up breaking a nice one by trying to stick a tool in the hole u put your finger over..(dumb spell)
I once bought one of the ‘expensive cleaning solutions’, and it turned out to be something remarkably like oven cleaner.
It worked fantastically well.
Subsequently, I bought another pipe cleaning solution which was utterly useless. It was some kind of oil. So it’s a bit of a lottery, but I would strongly suggest trying one of the standard oven cleaner sprays.
If it’s a glass pipe you can’t hurt it, and resin is chemically similar to oven gunge. Give it a go. Good luck.
TSP. Tri sodium phosphate. It’s avalible at most hardware stores. Put 2 -3 tsp of it into a glass of water, heat the water up till it boils, and put the pipe in to soak for a few minutes (20 – 30), then wipe clean, and rinse the pipe off.
Use rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip. Replace the screen and don’t get the alcohol on the bowl unless it is glass too.
Make sure all the alcohol is rinsed out and dry before adding fire or heat.
Rubbing alcohol works best and is cheep.
when i had a pipe i soaked mine in water and alcohol for like 3 days.
no matter which way you do it its going to smell horrible..
