I work full time and so does my husband. We have 2 kids. The house cleaning is just too much for me. Does anyone know of any good, trust worthy cleaning companies?

Merry Maids……..Or check your local yellow pages depends on where you live. Also look at adds in paper.Ask friends who they use.

Normally, just really expensive regardless of the professional service you call. Maybe try someone who does this on the side.

i can’t suggest a company, but as someone who has cleaned houses, i can give you a few tips on how to get more out of your cleaning service dollars. have your house as tidy as possible before the cleaner comes. that way, they can get to the cleaning and not get tied up by the clutter. get your kids to pick up everything from their bedromm floors.make sure to fill and run the dishwasher the night before and in the morning so there counters are clear.own a great vacuum and use it once a week. some cleaners charge less if they don’t have to bring equipment and cleaning supplies. use a squeegee on bathrtub and shower walls every time you use it. even if you’re the only family member who does, it will still prevent the build up that takes a cleaner a long time to eliminate.consider using armor all, normally used for cars, on the tile on your bathtub wall; it will protect it from buildup. give your toilets a quick scrub every night. (you’re probably the last one one to go to bed) if you have an electric stove, run the element liners through the dishwasher once a week, along with the metal filters from your range hood and the tray from your microwave. in addition to the regular stuff, give the cleaner one “large” job each time they come. clean the fridge, oven, blinds or other things you don’t get to that don’t need doing weekly. store extra bags under the one being used in each wastebasket, to save them going to get one as they empty the bath and bedroom garbage. strip all the beds and towels in the morning, so when you get home you can make the beds in your nice clean bedrooms and replace towels in the bathrooms. it might sound like a lot, but your cleaner will get so much more done on your dime. also, if your bufget is tight, put a cap on the number of hours you’ll pay for and prioritize what needs doing most. for example, if you can only afford 2 hours, have them do the bathrooms and one other thing.
