minimum wage. Less if you are an illegal alien.
it should pay pretty good. I would call an agency and simply tell them that you are interested and ask what their rates are.

i think you get paid by the house that you clean. my maid gets paid $75.00 a week for just cleaning my house alone but i’m sure with a maid service you would have more than 1 house.
Not much.Why don’t you clean on you own.Advertise in the newspaper for house cleaning.You will make a lot more money than working for someone else.
I used to work for a maid service about 5 years ago. I live in California and they paid me $8 an hour. I hated it and went back to my old job 2 weeks after starting. The hours varied and it actually really sucked, cleaning other peoples houses is disgusting, plus they made us clean the toilets with our hands (of course we wore gloves but still gross) and we had to mop the floors on our hands and knees. There weren’t any requirements. Teresa is right if you are interested in this line of work then go on your own, you will make more money that way.
