Music helps. But honestly, the fastest way is to just do it and get it over with.
turn on some good music. you can dance while you clean!
yep got an Ipod? or headset with little CD player? Race against the song . Each task needs to get done before the song is up. If you need more time than make it two songs whatever. You wont believe how much fun it can be and how quickly it will get done good luck and just a tip if you hang stuff up right away and put things where they belong right away its much easier to keep clean.
Try playing music it always help me get finished and it make me wnt to keep on going.
Toss your laundry across the room into a basket.
Shut your door so nothing distracts you.

As you clean look at ways you can redecorate or rearrange a couple things to give it a new, updated look.

listening to someone talk.
